Weekly Surf Sesh and Learn 2 Surf Signups

LEARN 2 SURF INFO:
There are still some spots available for the 9am surf lesson. Email
us if you'd like to sign up for that session. Once again, you must be
a member to take part in L2S day, but you can sign up for the lesson
without being a member and pay your $20 dues at the beach on Sunday.
Our tent will be up on the beach, probably towards the south end of La
Jolla Shores Beach, but you'll definitely see it wherever it is. In
addition to boards and wetsuits, burgers (beef and Boca) will also be
provided as well as water.

WEEKLY SURF SESSION INFO:
Whats up surf clubbers! Hope you all enjoyed the meeting/concert last
friday. Well, this week's surf session will be on thursday morning at
scripps. We'll be meeting at the scripps parking lot by the stairs at
7:30am (that means in your wetsuit ready to paddle out at 7:30).

For those of you who live on campus and do not have a way of getting
to the beach, Koji and I will be offering rides to the first 6 people
to reply email us at ucsdsurfclub@gmail.com. We will meet at the sungod
statue at 7 and leave by 7:08. I have a class at 9:30 and i'm sure many of
you do too, so my car will be returning to campus by 9:15.

If you haven't paid for you surf club membership, then you will not be
receiving emails for future surf sessions after this week. Don't worry just
yet; you can still pay your dues at the Muir Surf and Skate shop and
you will still receive emails for select events.

These surf sessions are a great way to meet new people and surf
buddies. There will be plenty of waves to go around on thursday so
come hang out, take a break from school, and meet your fellow club
members. Take notice that although these surf sessions are for all
levels of surfers, gear and instruction will not be offered. We will
see you guys on thursday either at Sungod by 7:08 or down at the
Scripps parking lot by 7:30.
