San Onofre Surf Trip!!

Hey Surf Clubbers,
This Saturday we are heading up to San O for a mini surf trip. An
historical Southern California surf break (the Beach Boys used to sing
about it in the 60's), San Onofre is described as "a beginner's
paradise of gentle breaking waves, long sandy beaches and an absence
of ego." It is about 45 minutes up the coast. Check out this link
for a full description:

9:Fish is letting us borrow 3-4 boards to test out (first come first
serve), but other than that no equipment will be provided. As always,
wetsuits and boards can be rented at Muir Surf n Skate.

Here's the details:
Carpools will be leaving both from the Surf Club House and from the
Sungod parking lot on campus. We will meet up at both locations at
8:30am, pack up and then leave by 9:00. Yeah it's early for a
Saturday, but you'll be able to take a nap on the beach if you're
gonna bitch about it. The trip is free and open to members only.
Sandwiches, water, and fruit will be provided for lunch, and gas will
be paid for. We'll also bring frisbees and a football for more
entertainment. We'll be coming home mid-afternoon, so you'll be home
before dark.
SPACE IS LIMITED!! Therefore, YOU MUST RSVP ASAP by giving us your
name, phone number, and location to be picked up (campus or surf club
house).
Let me know if you've got any questions, or if you want to help out by
driving. More drivers=more participants=more fun!!

Weekly Surf Session

Hey whats up guys, hope your Veterans Day went well. We will be having this week's surf session on Friday, November 14th at 9:45 AM atScripps. Scott and I will be waiting at the Sun God Parking Lot at9:20, we have room for about 5 or 6 people, so once again, email us to let us know if you want a ride. We will wait for 10 minutes at SunGod, if you don't need a ride, then be suited up and ready to go in the Scripps parking lot by the stairs at 9:45. We will wait a few minutes there then paddle out, if you get there late you should be able to find us out in the water. Surfline is calling for about 3 - 5 ft, should be pretty fun. If it turns out to be on the bigger side, it might not be a good idea tocome out if you are a true beginner. Otherwise, we will see you Friday!
